Dr. Anderson grew up in a small mountain town in Idaho. She attended Montana Tech in Butte, Montana, for her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology. She received a master's degree in science, with an emphasis in agricultural genetics from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. Following a retinal detachment, her focus turned to eyecare. She went to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, receiving her Doctorate of Optometry with honors.

Dr. Anderson completed her residency in ocular disease and low vision at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania. After residency, she moved to Oregon and joined Eyecare Associates in Lincoln City. She sees patients of all ages, for acute and chronic conditions alike.

She has participated in international eye clinics in Guatemala and multiple locations in Mexico. Providing care to rural communities brings her joy and a sense of purpose.

When not in clinic, Dr. Anderson is spending time with her husband, dog, and cats on the coast. She enjoys collecting hobbies including baking, traveling, playing the guitar, surfing, knitting, and making ceramics.
